Schereth taps Tisselwubby's surface lightly and points at Blackraven, before writing a very vulgar phrase on the blob's surface with a clawtip. Tisselwubby's surface flares and fluoresces as before, the lines lasting only for a moment. It 'blinks' at Schereth, its eyes sinking back into its stalks a little, then bobbing back out. Schereth drops a glass bead onto Tisselwubby. Sang decides to get even farther from the gryphon and crawls over to Tisselwubby to inspect if with Schereth. He peers at the blob then reaches out to tentatively poke at it. Schereth nods at Sang. Tisselwubby's surface is firm enough post-graffiti for the glass bead to just roll right off. *tink* it goes, and the blob twists about sharply, recoiling from the sound an inch or two before peering down at the bead. It extends a pseudopod and taps it cautiously, giving it a little flick that sends it rolling right over to Sang. Sang blinks at the bead as Tisselwubby rolls it over to him. He flicks it back with a smile. Blobs are much more fun to be with than bastard gryphons, it seems. Tisselwubby's eyes raise curiously, except for one: that's still staring at Schereth. Its little pseudopod dips and flicks, sending the bead Sang's way again. Schereth reaches out and rubs lightly over Tisselwubby, curoious how the blob will react. Tisselwubby doesn't really react at all. At least not physically - where touched, the pressure coaxes that faint glow from it again and it waggles that single eyestalk at Schereth, tiny little question-marks swirling all over the surface nearest him Sang flicks the bead back towards the goopile and watches curiously what it does with it next. Schereth tilts his head to the side slightly. "That is a friendly gesture." He's not sure how much speech Tisselwubby understands, but it's worth a try Tisselwubby almost leaps forward as the bead's flicked back towards it. The blob engulfs the bead, settling heavily over it and quickly scooping it up inside itself. There's an eye or two still floating in the midst of its form, and they roll and twist to peer intently at the bead, eventually falling to shunting it back and forth between themselves. In a strange attempt to please, the surface nearest Sang thins a little and forms three faintly-glowing ghostly characters. A 0, a long, thin line that descends between the eyes and their plaything, and another 0 on the other side. Perhaps it one of the eyes misses, a 0 will become a 1. Schereth also traces a claw lightly across the area where Tisselwubby showed the ?marks Sang blinks in surprise when the goopile does something different with the bead this time. "Err...what?" He blankly asks, then becomes more amused when he sees what the blob is doing with the bead. He chuckles and gets low to the ground to watch the spectacle up close. He randomly decides to cheer for the right-most eye. Schereth, just for variety, decides to cheer for the eye on the leftwards eye. Tisselwubby's right-most eye turns and waggles at Sang, and while its doing that the bead sails past it, trailing merry blue sparks. The leftmost eye does a little jig, the number about it flickering into a '1'. The rest of its eyestalks are mostly watching itself, as though it's not quite sure what's happening. Schereth's tail slaps the ground, and he digs an elbow at Sang lightly, and going back to watching Tisselwubby Sang gapes as his cheering causes the right eye to miss a shot. He recovers as the left eye does a jig, "I...duh...bluh." He continues cheering for the right eye, despite the loss: "You can do it, right eye! Can I call you Dave? Okay, you're Dave. You can do it Dave!" He acks as Schereth elbows him, "Oww, why did you do that?" He asks, rubbing his throbbing side. Tisselwubby extends an eyestalk: The bead flows smoothly up along the inside, and as it rests the tip against Sang's nose the bead's pushed around the eye and out to balance neatly in place. The stalk stays where it is but for the tiniest of little wiggles, glancing at Sang's left eye, then his right as though encouraging him to take his turn. Sang goes cross-eyed looking down at the offered bead, "Me?" He chuckles and tells the blob, "I'm sorry, but I can't have fun with the pearl like you can." He pokes the space between his eyes to illustrate his point, "See? Solid." Tisselwubby cna't quite squint, but it somehow contrives to give that impression. Its eyestalk dips back, then leans over and taps just where Sang did, once and twice and thrice. It twists its stalk into a strange wriggly curvy disappointed shape. Solids are strange. Schereth grins at the exchange. Sang eyes go even more cross-eyed to follow Tisselwubby's stalk and giggles, "I'm sorry I can't share the fun with you in the same way you can, but we can still play with the pearl like this." He flicks the pearl towards the blob again. Tisselwubby's impossibly flexible shape dips and arches to the side, eyestalks craning to follow the bead as it whizzes by. It's only got three of them now, the rest having variously subsided back into its mass. Sang snoutpalms and laughs at Tisselwubby. "Maybe that's asking too much." He reaches forwards and pets the blob with his palm. Schereth turns his head to the sideand peers at one of the eyestalks Tisselwubby mirrors Schereth's movement, the eyestalk in question holding its shape so there's some kind of frame of reference for the movement. The other two glance from the bead to Sang and back, slightly out of phase so while now both are looking one way, a few iterations later they're completely alternating. The overall impression is one of confusion: Sang threw the pretty thing away - dragons aren't supposed to do that to pretty things, it thinks. Sang didn't throw it away, he threw it at Tisselwubby! He sighs and pats the blob's "head," "Whatever will I do with you?" He wonders. Of course, he has a much larger pearl floating around his head, so maybe the one he tossed away wasn't so important to him? Tisselwubby has been carefully ignoring the pearl, for all its normal curiosity. Glass beads are one thing, but it's sure that if it were to touch the pearl it'd end up dissolving quite a bit of it. Pearls are rather more fragile in some ways. Bt now it peeks up at the orb, a gently pulsing "?" forming just under the base of the eyestalk in question. Sang's eyes follow the blob's stalks' direction, up to his pearl. He chuckles, "Sorry, Mr. Blob, but you can't play with that one," He winks. "It's my personal pearl." Schereth turns his head so that Tisselwubby can see how his eye socket obscures his vision when he looks to the side. Tisselwubby does indeed peer at Schereth intently.. but only briefly. Time's getting on, and the blob has to head out. It waggles its other two eyestalks at Sang and flashes a quick ":)" at him, the characters starting off blue but then slowly pulsing to green and back before fading.
